Research and Development
X-craft has its origins as a company conducting private Research and Development. We can save you money, increase your product satisfaction and give you peace of mind about your decisions on Autonomous Aerial and Sea Systems by conducting field R&D on your project.
This R&D is usually done in collaboration with our consultancy service. Once an evaluation of your problem is made and potential solutions put forward, we take our own platforms and do field operations to test these proposals. These field tests can range from a few days to a longer series of operations, depending on what your requirements are.
We highly recommend doing these preliminary field tests before committing to purchase any system. Why ? Because we have seen first hand how these tests can both clarify your needs and open up a range of additional potential applications that you may not have considered before. We have seen the positive results many times. We have also seen organisations purchase systems without doing this preliminary phase only to find they have spent good money on a system that only delivers a portion of what they had expected to achieve. They have also encountered post-purchasing blues when they recognise, with the great knowledge of hindsight, opportunities for expanded operations and realised that these factors would have greatly affected their purchasing decisons ... if only they had known before committing.
You wouldn't make an important commercial decision without due diligence and the same should apply to decisions on the utilisation of Autonomous Systems.
