The Nemesis class boat is our "Pacific shark", whose primary task is hunting and recording illegal fishing activity. This highly stealthy craft is equipped with a range of data gathering payloads and artificial intelligence capability. It can also carry modular pods with a range of equipment including emergency communications and medical supplies for Search & Rescue and emergency response operations.
Although 6m long its high tech construction makes it extremely light. Combined with a shallow draft (depth in the water), low infrastructure requirement and easy modular maintenance, makes it perfect for operations around remote Pacific islands and atolls. It can be deployed from other ocean going vessels or simply from a beach.
The Nemesis is a direct descendant from our Taniwha class boat, which began its life as a scaled down prototype test craft for the Nemesis design. It is however also a student of our Proteus class boat, which has provided a great deal of its research and development knowledge towards enabling the Nemesis. An excellent mix of capabilities.
