We are not manufacturers of multirotor aircraft but rather customised platforms to use in experiments. The ModX aircraft is directly derived from the Align 690 platform, a commercially available airframe that X-craft operates. This is a sturdy, nicely engineered platform. X-craft has removed the guts of the standard unit and replaced almost all on-board systems with custom components but that shouldn't detract from the well-earned place we give this airframe. The result is what we call ​the ModX, an aircraft that you will see reappear many times in a range of X-craft operations. It may not suit all X-craft's most advanced missions but it has so far proven to be an impressive workhorse.
