Operation SAREX was carried out in the Molesworth Valley, North Canterbury. Joint-platform flights were carried out, simultaneously using a multirotor scout as a close support search tool operating with a ground Search Team whilst a fixed wing aircraft, an Angel-ray 2m variant, provided a mobile relay system allowing video images to be streamed live from the multirotor back to the Command and Control unit.
